So Quiet is an strange human being in our musical scene. He has an incredible ability to create beautiful atmospheres and Words Make Me Feel Ugly, released by aeiou records, is a little ambient masterpiece. We have asked Tom to tell us his favourite musical choice and here is his selection.

River Man

This is an album that I go back to most often and with most pleasure. I think I'm addicted to Nick Drake's music. River Man was his second song I've heard, and now it's my favourite.
Este es un disco sobre el que, con mucho placer, vuelvo muy a menudo. Creo que soy adicto a la música de Nick Drake. River Man fue la segunda canción que escuche de él, y ahora es mi preferida.

Sunflower

I hesitated between Long Division and Things We Lost In a Fire. Both albums mean a lot to me. I am a die-hard Low fan. I finally picked this album because of Sunflower - a song which carries a lot of my important memories. At last in May this year I got to see Sunflower live.
He estado dudando entre Long Division y Things We Lost In a Fire. Ambos discos significan mucho para mí. Soy fan de Low hasta la muerte. Al final me decidí por este álbum debido a Sunflower -una cancion que me trae importantes recuerdos. Finalmente, en Mayo de este año, conseguí ver el tema en directo.

Great record, great end of an album. This melody, once heard, won't be destroyed even by 15-minute noise. Sonic Youth rock!
Gran disco, gran final de álbum. Esta melodía, una vez escuchada, no podrá ser nunca destruida ni por 15 minutos de ruido. Sonic Youth mola!

I remember waiting for Kid A. I remember buying the CD on the day it was released, just after the shops opened. I remember how excited I was about all this. I can't choose one favourite song: it doesn't really have to be Idioteque, it could be any other one.
Recuerdo esperar Kid A. Recuerdo comprar el Cd el dia que se puso a la venta, justo cuando abrieron las tiendas. Recuerdo que estaba muy excitado en aquel momento. No puedo elegir una única canción como mi favorita: no tiene por que ser Idioteque, podría ser cualquier otra.

A record found by chance in a local music shop turned out to be one of my most important albums. For me, Movietone have the ideal sound. Come to think of it, I'm really curious what they're up to now.
Encontré este disco por casualidad en una tienda de musica local y se convirtió en uno mis albums importantes. Para mí, Movietone poseen el sonido ideal. Pensando en ello, siento curiosidad por saber en que andan metidos en la actualidad.

Another album discovered in a shop. After listening to it for just a few seconds, I knew I had to buy it. It was one of the wiser decisions I made.
Otro disco descubierto en una tienda. Despues de escuchar los primeros segundos, supe que tenía que comprarlo. Fué una de las decisiones más sabias que he tomado.

First of all, I heard the album When in a quite unusual way, because it was playing in the background before a gig of Lenny Valentino, a very cool Polish band. A few days later I bought the CD. Later it turned out that Vincent is quite an amazing personality and I started being interested in his films.
En primer lugar, escuché el álbum When de una manera inusual, porque sonaba de fondo tras un concierto de Lenny Valentino, una banda polaca muy guay. Unos pocos días despues compré el CD. Despues descubrí que Vincent tiene una personalidad encantadora y comencé a interesarme en sus películas.

I got to know this song thanks to a compilation added to The Wire. It made me crazy straight away. There are a lot of personal stories that I associate with this album and this song... three amazing concerts, a few unforgettable and very nice situations...
